Our Recy-cled was a success! Not only did it stay together but it was pretty fast and went straight down the hill. It sounded like a jet. The first and second graders worked hard to put it together with cardboard boxes, cardboard screws(Mrs. Hook had been able to get from a Donors Choose campaign), gorilla tape, 2 plastic table clothes, and 1 Over the Hill sign from my 40th birthday! Don't forget our secret weapon, Pam sprayed on the bottom right before launch.
Assembly listening to letter from Evan Dybvig(past Tunbridge Olympian) and watching video of his qualifying run. Ended with a s-shaped spirit path back to our classrooms to work on sleds and flags.
